This is how it startedA little advanced in the timeline. The motor mounts were machined and the intake funnel was 3D printed and painted smoothstart cutting parts for combustion chambercombustion chamber output reducerlayout air intake holes in combustion chamber burner canassembly assembledattached to turbo start on plenum walls. Sheet metal rolled in slip roller and held in place temporarily with clecos.air plenum walls sealed and rivetedcontrols wired and panel 3D printedoil reservoir and radiator assembled and plumbed. final assembly brought outside
first test runresults of initial test. RPM too low and fuel burning too late in chamber resulted in scorched turbine.
As of today the turbo unit has been replaced and will be tested again soon. I’m waiting for a warmer day to dive back into this project.
